One Last Thing Before I Go… June 15, 2008

Here’s an excerpt of a conversation that the Big Guy and I had this morning…

Him:  So…Let me ask you…Did you write about it?

Me:  Dude…I. Have. A. Blog.

Him:  So, everyone knows?

Me:  Well…Yeah  (rolling my eyes, which I’m very good at doing!)

Him:  Thanks.  A lot.

Me:  No…thank you.  You gave me fodder.  And for that…I’m grateful.

Him:  rolls eyes at me…which, he is very good at doing too!

Just Thinking… June 15, 2008

I have a 4 word sentence that has been flowing through my mind today.

A cliche, really…

Let sleeping dogs lay…

That’s it.  What I’ve been hearing myself whisper in my obsessed head…

Let sleeping dogs lay…

So, I’m going to.

My husband is now, officially…off the hook.  I really don’t think it will happen again.  I really don’t think he’d chance. it.  If I’m wrong, I’m wrong.  But for now…I’m just going to let it go.

We decided last night that, we need to work on us.  That we are both very stressed.  And, the stress is starting to elbow it’s way into our marriage.  Big Time!

Therapy…here we come!!!

But for now, I’m off to watch my 12 year old son play in his baseball game.  His team isn’t very good but…they sure look adorable in their baseball uniforms!
